Foolproof (Movie)

Foolproof (2003) is a Canadian action movie about a group of three people who devise theoretical heists. They are blackmailed by another man into pulling a real multi-million dollar heist. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, David Suchet, Kristin Booth and Joris Jarsky. Filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and produced by Alliance Atlantis Communications and Ego Film Arts and released theatrically on October 3rd, 2003, by Odeon Films in Canada and Momentum Pictures of the United Kingdom. It was directed by William Phillips. In Canada, it was released in 204 theatres, more than any other movie in the past and under new Telefilm Canada rules stating the movie producers must have a good script and firm distribution deals to get a grant of more than $1,000,000. Telefilm granted Foolproof $3,400,000 CAD. The entire budget was $7,800,000. Tagline: This fall suspense gets intense!
