Flag Of Aruba

The national flag of Aruba () was adopted on March 18 1976. Its design features a light blue colour as a base (symbolising the bright blue skies and waters found in Aruba), with two parallel yellow stripes in the bottom half of the flag, and a four-pointed red star with a white fringe (symbolising the island itself) in the upper left corner (hoist side). March 18 is a public holiday in Aruba, known as Flag Day.
