Father Knows Best

Father Knows Best was an American TV and radio sitcom of the 1950s and 1960s. It portrayed a certain idealization of white, mid-class American life of the era. The radio program was called Father Knows Best? and was on the air from 1949 until its debut on television on October 3, 1954. A total of 203 episodes were produced, running until September 17, 1962, appearing on all three of the television networks of the time.
