Fasori GimnziumFasori Gimnzium (lit. "gymnasium on the avenue"), also known as Fasori Evanglikus Gimnzium ("Fasori" Lutheran Gymnasium), official name: Budapesti Evanglikus Gimnzium, is a famous secondary school in Budapest, Hungary, founded by the Lutheran Church. It has been one of the best secondary schools in Hungary. Among its students were the following (at some names, the duration of attendance is given): Among the further students and teachers were Georg Lukcs, Theodor Herzl, Antal Dorti, Alfrd Haar, Gyula Szepesy, Adolf Fnyes, Miksa Falk, Aurl Stein and Vilmos Ttrai. Lszl Rtz was a legendary teacher of mathematics in the school, after whom a Medal and an Achievement Award was later named. The school started at Dek tr from 1823, then it moved to Stő utca in 1864, and it took its final place in 1904 in Vrosligeti fasor, receiving its present nickname. It had to cease working from 1952 (during Socialism), but it was restarted in 1989. See also External links
