Faisal Al-fayez

Faisal al-Fayez (born 1952) has been the Prime Minister of Jordan since October 25 2003, following the resignation of Ali Abu al-Ragheb. He previously served as Defence Minister, and is close to the king. He was educated at the College De La Salle, Amman, Jordan (1970) and then went on to Cardiff University, Wales where he receieved a degree in Political Science in 1978. In 1981 he did a Masters in International Relations in Boston University in the United States. WORKING EXPERIENCE & POLITICAL EXPERIENCES : From 1979 - 1983 he was Consul at the Embassy Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Brussels. In Febuary 1986 he was the Assistant Chief of Royal Protocol Royal Court, he was promoted in 1995 to Deputy Chief of Royal Protocol at the Royal Court. In March 1999 he became Chief of Royal Protocol at the Royal Hashemite Court. In March 2003 he was appointed Minister of the Royal Hashemite Court. He has recieved a number of decroations. These are: 2000 Grand Cordon of the Order of Al-Kawkab Al-Urduni
