Faboideae

See text. The Subfamily Faboideae is in the flowering plant family, Fabaceae. This subfamily is widely distributed and members are adapted to a wide varitely of environments. Faboideae may be trees, shrubs or herbs. Flowers are classically pea shaped and root nodulation is very common. Note: The type genus, Faba, is a synonym for Vicia and is listed here as Vicia.
