Extreme Points Of Ireland

This is a list of the extreme points of Ireland, the points that are farther north, south, east or west than any other location. Including islands Irish mainland Often the term "Malin Head to Mizen Head" is used when encompassing the entire country/island from north to south. Mizen Head, in West Cork, is popularly described as the "most south-western point in Ireland". The promontory hosts a lighthouse and radio/weather station, now a tourist attraction. ¹ The Republic of Ireland claims Rockall, which, if it is included as part of Ireland, is both the northernmost and westernmost island.
