Exact Science

Exact science is knowledge so systematized that predictions and their verification, by measurement, experiment, observation, or a rigorous logical argument, are possible. Mathematics, natural sciences and applied sciences are considered the exact sciences. Exact sciences are distinguished from the social sciences on the one hand, and from the humanities, theology, the arts on the other.
