Euphemus

In Greek mythology, Euphemus was the son of Europa and Poseidon. Medea prophesied that he would one day rule Libya when she was on the Argos with Jason and the Argonauts; Euphemus was the helmsman. Her prophesy came true when Battus, a descendant of Euphemus, founded Cyrene, the capital of Libya.
