Ethelred, Earl Of Fife

Ethelred, Earl of Fife, who lived in the 11th and/or 12th centuries, is purported to be one of the sons of Margaret of Scotland and Malcolm III. However, some doubt that he was of noble parentage, claiming that he was only named after Malcolm and received the title Earl of Fife for meritorious service. He is the first recorded Earl of Fife. His name is sometimes spelled Aethelred.
