wind turbine
industry. It is leading on the German wind power market and is one of the biggest producers in the world. The turbines run without a gearbox. Their biggest model is (in Feb. 2005) the E-112, rated at 4.5 MW and with a rotor diameter of about 113 m. From August 2002 to December 2004 it was the biggest wind turbine in the world.
