Emperor Suzaku Of Japan

Emperor Suzaku (朱雀天皇) (923-952) was the 61st imperial ruler of Japan. He ruled from 930 to 946. He was a son of Emperor Daigo and Empress Inshi, a daughter of Fujiwara no Mototsune. In his reign Taira no Masakado staged a rebellion in Kanto region and denominated himself New Emperor, but the rebel was put down at last. He was succeeded by his younger brother, Emperor Murakami.
