Elsa, Yukon

Elsa (Yukon Territory, Canada) was a mining town based on silver and lead. It is located at , between the valley of the Stewart River to the south and the Mackenzie Mountains to the north. It is 700 kilometres to the north of Whitehorse, and 600 kilometres east of the Alaskan border. Its population moved out following the closure of the United Keno Hill mine in the late 1980s. Most of the houses and buildings have been dismantled. No one remains except for some caretakers.
