Ehud Olmert

Ehud Olmert (born in Binyamina in 1945) has been Minister of Industry and Trade and Deputy Prime Minister of Israel since February 2003. A Knesset Member since 1973. In 1988-1990 he served as a Minister without portfolio responsible for minority affairs. In 1990-1992 Minister of Health. In November 1993, Olmert was elected Mayor of Jerusalem.
