Eduard Study

Eduard Study (23 March 1862 - 6 Jan 1930) was a 19th-century German mathematician known for work on invariant theory of ternary forms (1889). Also for the study of spherical trigonometry. and for applications of group theory to complex numbers. The invention of the dual numbers is attributed to him.
