Edge Of Sanity

Edge of Sanity is a Swedish melodic death metal band. In 1997, after recording the album Infernal singer and guitarist Dan Swan left the band to concentrate more on his other musical projects. He was replaced by Robert Karllson, the singer of Pan-thy-monium, a side-project in which Dan Swan was also involved. For many fans of the band, the departure of Dan Swan, who was the creative force behind Edge of Sanity, also marked a decrease in musical quality. Shortly thereafter, the band dissolved. In 2003, Dan Swan revived the band as a one-man project, recorded a successor to the Crimson album, named Crimson II. Shortly thereafter, he once again dissolved the band.
