Edessa, GreeceEdessa (Έδεσσα) is a town in of 25,000 inhabitants in northern Greece, the capital of the Pella prefecture. It is also known as Vodena (Slavic: Voda, "water") and it is nicknamed "town of the waters", due to its rich aquatic resources and its tourist attraction of the waterfalls, located in the actual town center.
