Ed Templeton (born July 28, 1972 in Garden Grove, CA) is a professional skateboarder who resides in Huntington Beach, California. Ed started skateboarding in 1985 and turned pro for New Deal Skateboards in 1990. Ed left New Deal in 1992 to start the short-lived company "TV" with Mike Vallely. In 1993 Ed founded Toy Machine skateboards. In addition to being a pro rider for Toy Machine, Ed is also the company president, acting team manager and graphic designer. In 2000, Ed's book of photography Teenage Smokers placed first in the Search For Art competition in Italy. In the fall of 2001, Ed's artwork was featured in Juxtapose magazine, with the work of Swiss surrealist H.R. Giger featured in the same issue.
