Dutch Language Union
The
Nederlandse Taalunie
or
Dutch Language Union
is an institution for discussing issues on the
Dutch language
between three partners: The
Netherlands
,
Flanders
(Dutch-speaking part of
Belgium
) and
Suriname
. It was founded in
1980
. An important realization of the Union has been the modification of the Dutch
orthography
in
1995
.
