Dream House

Dream House is short-lived dance music style which had a big succes in dance scene in 1996 and 1997. Its main trademark is the importance of melody, usuallly a very dreamy once (hence the name dream house) typically played on a piano or in some cases a violin, saxophone, etc. The track that launched dream house to popularity was Children by Robert Miles, a beautiful and melancholy piece of music. Other dream house hits were "Sky Plus", by Nylon Moon, "Celebrate" by Zhi-Vago etc. Traces of dream house music can be found in today's trance-progressive tracks.
