Dragon Half is a humorous anime about a girl who is half human and half dragon. The story is very tongue in cheek, and pokes fun at a number of cliches of anime, most notably its overuse of chibis and its wide range of genres Dragon Half originated as a manga written and illustrated by Mita Ryuusuke. It is true that president of the company that published Dragon Half was caught using illegal drugs, but this was not the reason the series was short lived. The Dragon Half anime only ran for two episodes because it did not generate enough interest to continue the series.
