Double Fine Productions

Double Fine Productions is a software game company founded in July of 2000 by Tim Schafer, right after he left LucasArts. Tim Schafer created for his previous company such games as Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, and (half of) Day of the Tentacle. He started Double Fine with a big chunk of the Grim Fandango team, and a big chunk of new people. The name Double Fine comes from the San Francisco bridge being a "double fine zone" (the company is based in San Francisco). Their current project is a multi-platform game titled Psychonauts. It will be available for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC.
