Dmitrov

Dmitrov (Дмитров in Russian) is a city in the Moscow Oblast in Russia. It is located on the Yakhroma River (the Volga basin). It is surrounded by many kolhoz and former Ministry of Agriculture villages such as Novoe Sinkovo. Dmitrov was founded by Yuri Dolgoruky in 1154 (7 years later than Moscow). In the 14th century, it finally became a part of the Muscovy.
