Development Unity Party

The Development Unity Party (PPP) (Bahasa Indonesia: Partai Persatuan Pembangunan) is a political party in Indonesia. It is seen as a moderate Islamicist party, and is led by Hamzah Haz. In the Indonesian House of Representatives it has 58 of 154 seats, and got a 10.7 share of the vote in 1999 elections. It is a federation of four smaller parties - Nahdatul Ulama, Muslim Party of Indonesia, Islamic Association Party of Indonesia and the Islamic Educational Movement.
