Derekh Hashem

Derekh Hashem (The Way of God) is a philosophical text about God's purpose in Creation, justice, and ethics by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzatto, the author of the well known Mesillat Yesharim. The work systematically explains the underlying worldview of the Kabbalah, presupposing no prior knowledge and without the use of Kabbalistic terminology. This work provides the student with essential tools for understanding the worldview and ideas found in the Zohar, the writings of Isaac Luria (the Arizal) and other Kabbalistic and Hassidic works.
