Delta Class Submarine

The Delta Class of Russian Submarine are actually four different types. They are all reasonably similar in appearance, but have different capabilities and systems. They are grouped together under the 'Delta' Class in the NATO classification system, but are actually three different submarines in Russian terminology (The Delta-II is regarded as an 'improved' Delta-I).
