Delta Motor Corporation

Delta Motor Corporation was a South African car manufacturer, which was created through a management buy-out after General Motors (GM) divested from South Africa in 1986. In 1997, GM acquired a 45 per cent stake, and in 2003 the company became a fully-owned subsidiary, General Motors South Africa. It assembles Opel, Isuzu and Suzuki models for sale in South Africa and for export to other right hand drive markets in the region. It also imports and services other GM models.
