Debbie AllenDebbie Allen (born Deborrah Kaye Allen on January 16, 1950 in Houston, Texas) choreographed the movie and television show, Fame in the early 1980s, and also taught former L.A. Laker dancer-turned singer, Paula Abdul, how to choreograph. She then spun-off the successful Fame franchise into a reality show in 2003, which failed.
