David Deutsch

David Deutsch (born 1953) is a physicist at Oxford University. He pioneered the field of quantum computers, and was a founder of the Taking Children Seriously movement. He is a proponent of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics. He was awarded the Dirac Prize of the Institute of Physics in 1998.
