Dalston Kingsland Railway Station

Dalston Kingsland station serves the North London Line. It is located on the Western side of Kingsland High Street (A10) in Dalston, opposite the popular Ridley Road market and is in Travelcard Zone 2. It opened on 16th May 1983, and the station and all trains serving it is operated by Silverlink. Typical off-peak frequency at the station is 4 trains per hour westbound to Richmond via Highbury, Camden Town and Willesden, and 4 trains per hour eastbound to Stratford, with alternate trains continuing to North Woolwich, however service intervals here vary from approximately 7 minutes during rush-hours to 30 minutes on Sundays. The NLL is both 25kV overhead AC and 750V third-rail DC electrified at this point. The service is operated chiefly by Class 313 electric multiple units (EMUs); these trains can collect both a.c. and d.c. power and change from one system to the other ("pantograph-up, pantograph-down", dependent on direction of travel) here.
