Dagenham East Tube Station

Dagenham East is a London Underground station on the District Line, located in Dagenham. The station is in Zone 5. The station was opened in 1885 by the London Tilbury & Southend Railway. The current station structure was opened in 1932 when the electrified District Line was extended to Upminster. The station has five platforms. Three are used by the District Line (two for through service and one for terminating trains) and another two are disused. Dagenham East is between Dagenham Heathway and Elm Park stations
