Dj Danger Mouse

DJ Danger Mouse (real name Brian Burton) came to prominence by remixing the Beatles' White Album and rapper Jay-Z's Black Album to make The Grey Album. EMI, which releases Beatles records, has served cease and desist orders, due to copyright infringement, to the DJ, record shops stocking it and web sites which offered downloads of it. An Internet protest called Grey Tuesday followed. Before the release of The Grey Album, Danger Mouse released a critically acclaimed album with rapper Jemini entitled Ghetto Pop Life, released on Lex Records. At present, he just finished producing the forthcoming Gorillaz album Demon Days. He also recently won a Wired Magazine Rave Award for his significant contributions to the music world.
