Cutty Sark Dlr Station
As the name suggests,
Cutty Sark DLR station
is a station on the
Docklands Light Railway
situated a short distance from the historic
Cutty Sark
ship in the town centre of
Greenwich
in south-east
London
. It is also the closest station to the
National Maritime Museum
, the former
Greenwich Hospital
, the
Greenwich foot tunnel
, Greenwich's town center, covered market and other tourist attractions. The station is the first station south of the
River Thames
and, as the DLR passes under the river in a tunnel, the station is underground. It is located between
Island Gardens
and
Greenwich
stations, and is on the boundary of
Travelcard Zone 2
and
Zone 3
.
