Corrientes Province

Corrientes is a province of Argentina, located in the northeast of the country. The capital is Corrientes. The province has a population of 930,991 (2001), and covers an area of 88,199 km². Neighboring are from the north clockwise the country Paraguay, the province Misiones, Brazil, and the provinces Entre Rios, Santa Fe and Chaco.
