Conception Bay South, Newfoundland And Labrador

The town of Conception Bay South is on the Avalon peninsula of the island of Newfoundland. It is approximately 20km south-west from the province capitol, St. John's. It is the fourth largest municipality on the island, with a population of over 19,000 people. The municipality of Conception Bay South was formed in 1973, with the incorporation of nine communities: Topsail, Chamberlains, Manuels, Long Pond, Foxtrap, Kelligrews, Upper Gullies, Lawrence Pond and Seal Cove.
