Computer Graphics Polygon

Computer graphics polygons are usually triangular in shape, but can be other polygon-shapes as well. They arise when an object's surface is modelled, vertices are selected, and the object is rendered in a wire frame model. This is cheaper to display than a shaded model; thus the polygons are a stage in computer animation.
