Columbia Basin

The Columbia Basin is the large area of Canada and the United States that is drained by the Columbia River. It includes all or part of British Columbia, Montana, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington State, and spans from the Rocky Mountains in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west. The dry flat region at is centre is known as the Columbia River Plateau.
