Cokie Roberts

Mary Martha Corinne Morrison Claiborne Boggs "Cokie" Roberts (b. December 27, 1943) is an NPR journalist. She worked many years on the Sunday morning ABC News program This Week along with Sam Donaldson and George Stephanopoulos. Her father was House Democratic majority leader and segregationist Hale Boggs, a signer of The Southern Manifesto that condemned the 1954 Supreme Court decision of Brown v. Board of Education. Her brother is prominent Washington lobbyist Thomas Boggs, a registered foreign agent for Qorvis Communicationsof Saudi Arabia. She married Steve Roberts in 1966.
