Coffee CrispCoffee Crisp is a popular, coffee-flavoured chocolate bar invented in Canada in 1952 and presently marketed by Nestl Canada. The bar is a combination of coffee cream, cookie wafers and milk chocolate coating. Its advertising motto is: "Coffee Crisp Makes a Nice Light Snack." According to Nestl Canada, Coffee Crisp is the number one-selling chocolate bar in Canada. In 2001, the first variation of the Coffee Crisp brand was introduced, a limited edition "Coffee Crisp Orange" flavour. A limited amount of the orange flavour was reissued in 2002. 2002 also saw the release of a limited edition "Coffee Crisp Raspberry" flavour. "Coffee Crisp Caf Caramel" was sold in the summer of 2004 and a limited edition "Coffee Crisp White" was launched in the autumn that same year. Canadian expatriates to the United States have long lamented the bar's relative unavailability outside of Canada. In response, Nestl is test-marketing Coffee Crisp in a number of US markets including: Wilmington, Delaware, Omaha, Nebraska, North Bend, Washington, Madison, Wisconsin, Orlando, Florida and Rockford, Illinois.
