Clover (Manga)

Clover is a manga by CLAMP. Clover is published in Japan by Kodansha and in North America by TokyoPop. It is the story of a young girl called Suu. She has been alone all of her life, imprisoned by choice. She is one of a few children nicknamed "clovers" who have been branded according to the strength of their abilities. Suu is the only four-leaf clover in the world and has the ability to do great things. Being isolated from the rest of mankind, Suu craves happiness, and as her only wish, she asks to visit "Fairy Park". Her escort is Kazuhiko, an ex-military solider who has been forced to undertake the task. The couple embark on their journey, but encounter many misfortunes. Clover spanned 4 books. Volumes 1, 2 are relevant to Suu's current life, whereas volumes 3 and 4 are flashbacks which explain the history behind certain incidents.
