Clipse

Clipse is an American hip hop duo. Formed in Virginia in 1992, the group includes members Pusha T and Malice. Clipse met record producer Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes durign the early part of the 1990s, and Williams helped them secure a deal through Elektra Records. The group's debut single flopped, and Williams resuscitated their careers in the early 2000s, singing them to Arista Records through his Star Trak imprint. Star Trak/Arista issued Clipse' debut album, Lord Willin', on August 20 2002; the album includes their Top 10 R&B single "Grindin'". Their lyrical content often focuses on dealing crack cocaine.
