Clifton James

Clifton James is an American actor born on May 29, 1921 in New York, New York. Mr. James is best known for playing the role of Sheriff J.W. Pepper in the James Bond movies Live and Let Die and The Man with the Golden Gun. Despite being born in New York City, he has been cast as Southerners in many of his movie roles.
