Cleethorpes (Borough)

Cleethorpes was a local government district and borough in Humberside, England from 1974 to 1996. It was formed on April 1, 1974, and covered Cleethorpes itself along with a wider area including Humberston, Stallingborough, and New Waltham, and Immingham. It was abolished on April 1, 1996 along with Humberside and was merged along with the borough of Great Grimsby into the new unitary North East Lincolnshire.
