Cinderford

Cinderford is a small town in Gloucestershire, England, with a population of about 7,500 people. The town lies on the eastern fringe of the Forest of Dean, and serves as the area's regional centre. It grew in the nineteenth century as coal mines were opened in the area, but most of these closed in the 1960s; a few remained in production into the late 1980s.
