Christoph Wolff

Christoph Wolff (born May 24, 1940) is a German-born musicologist, presently on the faculty of Harvard University. He is best known for his works on the music, life, and times of Johann Sebastian Bach. He (re)discovered a number of works by Bach (notably the Neumeister Chorales) that were previously unknown or deemed lost.
