Chris Tarrant (born October 10, 1946, Reading, Berkshire) is a British radio broadcaster and television presenter now best known for hosting the TV game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. Tarrant came to prominence originally as one of the co-hosts of the groundbreaking Saturday morning children's TV show Tiswas. His morning show on London commercial radio station Capital Radio was for years one of the staples of early morning London life for many people. The show ran for 4,425 episodes over 17 years, ending on 2 April 2004. Tarrant's catchphrases on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? include "Is that your final answer?". The show has made him very wealthy. Chris Tarrant is/was a radio amateur, possibly with the Class-A UK callsign G0KRH. He enjoys fishing, and smokes cigars.
