Charles PguyCharles Pguy (January 7, 1873-September 4, 1914) was a noted French poet and essayist. He was a devout Catholic but not a practising Catholic. (1) His two main inspirations were socialism and christianity. Charles Pguy was born in Orlans. He attended the cole Normale Suprieure, from which he graduated in 1894.
