Changeling (Marvel Comics)The Changeling (Kevin Sydney) is a comic book supervillain in the Marvel Comics universe. He was initially a nemesis of the X-Men, and first appeared in X-Men #35 (1967). Changeling is a mutant with the ability to alter his physical appearance at will to resemble that of any person he chooses. He also has limited telepathic abilities. The Changeling originally worked for the villainous organization Factor Three. Following that group's defeat, he reformed and, unbeknownst to the X-Men, was recruited by Professor X to replace him while he isolated himself to prepare for his fight against the Z'Nox. The Changeling was killed in battle shortly after this, although it was a long time before the X-Men learnt it had not been the Professor who had died. However, in alternate continuities, the character of Changeling has appeared as Morph.
