Centennial College

Centennial College of Applied Arts and Technology is the oldest College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario, founded in 1966. It is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; most of its five campuses are located in the east-end area of Scarborough. Its oldest campus, in the Warden Woods neighbourhood, is closing in autumn of 2004. A new campus, known as the HP Science and Technology Centre, is opening in the Morningside Avenue-Ellesmere Road area. Existing campuses are also located near Markham Road and Highway 401 (Progress); the Warden Avenue-Lawrence Avenue area (Ashtonbee); and in the Danforth neighbourhood, on Carlaw Avenue (Centre for Creative Communications). The Carlaw Avenue campus is the old home of the Canadian teen drama, Degrassi High. Classes are also held at various satellite locations in the area, none of which are official Centennial campuses.
