Censorship By Organized Religion

Censorship by organized religion is a form of externally imposed censorship with the use of religious power to control freedom of expression on the basis of the teachings of the organized religion. Censorship is usually use by conservative organized religions, or the Christian Right. In some conservative, fundamentalist Christian denominations, censorship is done on the basis of the Bible teachings.
